Our History
Established in 1989, our family-owned business has thrived for over three decades. We emerged as pioneers in our country in 1996, specializing in the construction of wooden, plastic, and aluminum doors and windows. Despite the devastation inflicted by war in 1999, our perseverance shined through as we resumed operations, beginning on a new chapter.
From 2000 to 2022, our company successfully built and restored a number of public and private facilities, while also producing thousands of high-quality doors and windows. We have also professionally handled and constructed over 200,000 square meters of Ventilating Facade (HPL). Last year, we proudly launched a cutting-edge production line for plastic windows that incorporates cutting- edge technology. In addition, our new table production line is now fully operational.
From 2005 to 2023, we reached significant milestones in our automotive ventures. We sold 300 automobiles as an authorized SKODA AUTO dealer from 2005 to 2008. Moreover, we have been proudly representing the renowned global brand PEUGEOT since 2009, with an impressive record of selling over 2000 cars to date. In addition, we have been an authorized Mitsubishi dealer since 2020 and have sold over 85 units.
As part of our commitment to sustainable mobility, in 2022 we established EL TAXI, a taxi company that
utilizes only electric vehicles. We aim to help contribute towards a greener future by embracing eco-friendly solutions while delivering reliable transportation services.

Construction
Mercom Company has established itself as a reliable construction company in Kosovo which has helped businesses and individuals in Planning, Constructing, and maintaining various construction projects.
Production
Apart from its doors and windows production lines, Mercom Company also represents GENTAS GROUP in the territory of Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and Montenegro, offering HPL ventilated facades for modern construction projects, and furniture products.
We offer high quality, yet well priced table tops, tables, toilet partitions, locker cabinets and other specialized furniture ranges that use HPL (compact) Panel as the main structure.
Automotive
Since January 2009, Mercom Company has been the official representative of PEUGEOT for the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, selling over 1500 units.
In 2020, the company also became the official Mitsubishi dealer, selling dozens of new Mitsubishi cars in Kosovo in its first year of operation.
